- Your privacy is important, especially regarding your photos. All of the functionality of the app is done locally on your device, even notifications. When downloading a photo from iCloud, the app asks iOS to do it. Sharing is done only when the user chooses to do it.
A note on notifications: They are not enabled by default and you can enable them in the settings menu (the icon on the top left corner). You can choose what time to receive the notifications.

The first thing you'll notice in this version is that the app is now a bit less... grey. I hope you like it!
The second thing one might notice is that the app is now free. All features will be unlocked for free for everyone who already owns the app. The app might ask you to authenticate with the App Store on the first launch. If you choose, you can further support the development of this app by buying the in-app purchases anyway.
Also, the watch app has now been upgraded to watchOS 2 so it's now much faster!
Further changes include:
- The app will now show you photos from Shared iCloud Streams and photos synced from iTunes.
- You can now view photos taken on the 29th of February. It will also work properly on the leap day of 2020 (and all future leap days).
- The usual miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements.
